Farmers Insurance Agency owner, Mitchell Varhula is now offering free age-specific educational lesson plans for the educators in the community. There are a variety of award winning programs which come with a lesson plan book and DVD, including The American Promise, which is in over 150,000 classrooms nation-wide Freedom’s Song, celebrating African American history and Y.E.S. (Your Essential for Safety) for teenage drivers, among others.

This past month, Mitchell Varhula attended a job fair for teachers held at Brandman University in Walnut Creek. “I wanted to reach out to educators because Farmers offers these free award-winning education programs to teachers. We also offer preferred pricing to educators, as well as other occupational groups on auto and home policies. It is important to celebrate our teachers in our community,” said owner, Mitchell Varhula.

Additionally, as of February 7th, Farmers Insurance has deepened the home discount for auto policy owners.
