Military Benefit Association Sponsors TRICARE Supplement Coverage for Members and Families

Military Benefit Association (MBA), a sponsor of insurance and other benefits to the military and federal civilian communities, is sponsoring TRICARE Supplement Insurance for TRICARE-insured military families.

TRICARE insurance provides extensive civilian medical care benefits to military personnel, military retirees and their families. For those covered by TRICARE, the MBA TRICARE Supplement Insurance Plan will quickly reimburse eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses for insured MBA members and their families. This valuable TRICARE Supplement Insurance Plan comes in three options:

   •  Standard: This option pays a share of the cost of covered health care services obtained from a non-network civilian health care provider
   •  Extra: This option is similar to a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and offers a network of civilian doctors and military providers and get a discount on cost sharing
   •  Prime: This option is a voluntary HMO-type plan with an emphasis on preventive care
