Member Insurance Appoints Carl Dent as VP of Claims and Risk Services [Manufacturing Close – Up]

Member Insurance Agency, Inc., announced the appointment of Carl Dent as vice president of claims and risk services.
According to a release, Member Insurance serves the needs of hardware stores, lumber dealers, building material dealers, nursery and garden centers, rental centers, and wood products manufacturers, specializing in cooperatives and associations.
Dent will focus on claims management and reporting, loss control management, and developing trend analysis and claims strategies. He will serve as an expert in policy coverage interpretation and exposures to loss.
"Carl's high level of insurance experience and knowledge will allow for improved service to our members and insureds through lower loss exposures and therefore lower premiums," said Scott Reynolds, President and CEO of Member Insurance.
Dent brings more than 20 years of insurance expertise with a specific focus on hardware, rental, lumber, and building material industries. Prior to joining Member Insurance, his most recent position was at Sedgwick Claims Management Services as Director of Client Services. He also held earlier positions focused on claims and loss control at Member Insurance as well as with The Hartford.
Member Insurance supplies insurance to independent hardware stores, lumber dealers, building material dealers, nursery and garden centers and rental centers, specializing in cooperatives and associations.
