MediExcel Health Plan Awarded California License as Cross-Border HMO Plan

Recognizing the growing US consumer demand for quality and affordable healthcare in Mexico, a new cross-border HMO Plan will start selling group healthcare coverage in California’s San Diego and Imperial Counties in September 2012. California law allows Mexican-based health plans to apply for licensure to sell group healthcare coverage in California and provide benefits in Mexico.
