MedRisk and Acrometis Partner to Maximize Network Penetration and Effectiveness for Physical Medicine Management

Business Wire, Inc.

MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MedRisk announced it has joined the Acrometis Alliance Partner Program. With this new partnership, workers’ compensation payers will benefit from a tightly coupled integration between MedRisk and Acrometis’ high performing automated claims processing platform. MedRisk is a leading managed care company specializing in the physical rehabilitation of injured workers.

By integrating MedRisk’s network with Acrometis’ CLAIMExpert system, businesses can maximize network penetration and effectiveness for physical medicine management. Additionally, the integration enables adjusters to make electronic referrals to MedRisk and electronically post targeted messages regarding specific benefits and the status of each claim from within CLAIMExpert.

“MedRisk’s mission is to provide cutting-edge solutions designed to promote quality care and return-to-work oriented treatment for patients, ultimately reducing costs and increasing patient satisfaction. Our partnership with Acrometis is another step in our technological innovation, in order to provide our clients with improved outcomes and savings that are significantly greater than traditional programs,” said Shelley Boyce, MedRisk founder and Chief Executive Officer.

According to Acrometis Chairman and CEO P. Kevin Kilroy, the key to customer satisfaction, improved outcomes and cost reduction comes down to customer service and the agility with which adjusters can respond to requests and keep their internal and external customers informed throughout the entire process. The technology alliance provides “automation and visibility into many aspects of the lifecycle of a claim, however it moves across the organization, allowing adjusters to manage work across system silos,” he added.

“CLAIMExpert actually sits in the center of a large ecosystem of solutions, all of which need to share data to be effective,” said Kilroy.
