Mark Ross Group of Companies Opens San Diego Office

San Diego, CA –  September 1, 2007 — The Mark Ross Group of Companies, Ltd. (“Group”) has announced the opening of its San Diego office, the Group’s third U.S. office, for the conduct of its insurance and other financial sector businesses.

The Mark Ross Group of Companies, Ltd., with headquarters at 400 Park Avenue in New York City, provides a number of products and services in the life insurance sector in both the primary and secondary markets.  The Group also maintains and is aggressively extending several elite brokerage facilities serving the most demanding of market niches.  The Group’s life insurance operations are led by Robert Powell, former President of Met Life’s Brokerage Division and a nationally renowned insurance distribution professional.

The Group includes an active premium finance business across a widening spectrum of original issue and secondary market applications. The Group has formed a new company called Ross Resolution Capital Management Company, LLC., to counsel clients and their attorneys with respect to asymmetric life insurance based disputes and to provide a negotiating and dispute resolution platform to effect the efficient and fair satisfaction of claims.

To the extent that the negotiating effort provided for in the resolution protocol fails to achieve its intended results, the new entity supports the claimants, if their suit is deemed meritorious, with the capital and full range of skilled resources to realize a favorable outcome.

According to Mr. Mark E. Ross, Chairman of the Group, the opening of the San Diego office has been necessitated by heightened client demand in California. “Working with our attorneys here to ensure the best outcome for our insureds and for new clients who have approached us with respect to secondary life insurance products and with insurance dispute issues, we will be able to expand while managing our case load in the entire Western U.S.” he said.
