Man charged in cutting incident [The Moultrie Observer, Ga.]

Huerra's sweater and shirt were cut near his stomach, police reports said. He also had several stab wounds to the left arm and a small cut to the stomach, and he was treated by Emergency Medical Service personnel.
Later, Huerra accompanied police and identified the car and
Meza, 21, was charged with aggravated assault.
A woman at the residence where he was found told police that Huerra tried to hit Meza with a stick and that he was defending himself. Huerra identified another witness who saw the incident.

A deputy called to a fight in progress at the residence found Smith with a large abrasion on his face and blood outside.
He reported that he had told the people to leave several times when one of them pulled his jacket over his head and he was beaten. A witness reported being pushed back inside the house when she went outside during the incident.

When contacted by an officer, the man allowed him to come pick up the dog because he was too intoxicated to return it himself. The dog was returned to Yates by the officer.
