MMIC Names Steve Lacke as SVP, Insurance Operations [Health & Beauty Close – Up]

MMIC has promoted Steve Lacke to senior vice president, Insurance Operations.
In a release, the company said Lacke joined MMIC as its vice president and chief actuary in 2009. In his new role, he is responsible for the company's underwriting and IT functions in addition to his actuarial role.
According to president and CEO Bill McDonough, Lacke has accomplished a lot in his three years at MMIC. "Steve understands the value of sound data, and has built a data warehouse that is key to making the best decisions for our clients. He has also contributed significantly to our success with large and complex accounts."
Lacke has more than 20 years of actuarial experience and has a strong background in pricing, reserving, reinsurance and strategic planning.
MMIC Group, Inc. provides professional liability insurance and risk solutions to physicians, clinics, hospitals and long-term care facilities and systems, primarily in Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
