Life Insurance Finance Association Conference Early Registration Deadline Approaching
After Nov. 1, Fees Increase $50 per Person; Registration Available on New Life Insurance Finance Association Web Site
SAN DIEGO - Oct. 20, 2006 - The growing interest in the life insurance premium-finance industry has driven an overwhelming amount of pre-event registrants to the first Life Insurance Finance Association conference on Nov. 29.
"We are thrilled by the amount of interest in the conference and look forward to an event that fosters the exchange of ideas and a variety of perspectives," said Scott Cipinko, executive director, Life Insurance Finance Association. "Space is limited to a first-come, first-served basis, so we are encouraging interested parties to register as soon as possible."
The deadline to receive the discount registration rate of $150 ends Nov. 1, and thereafter, the rate goes to $200 for non-members. Members of the Life Insurance Finance Association are invited to attend the conference free of charge.
Topics to be covered at the conference - "Life Insurance Premium Financing: Myths and Realities" - include the current state of the premium-finance market and upcoming issues. Interested members of the life-insurance industry, including carriers, state regulators, producers and lenders, are encouraged to attend. Speakers will include state regulators, legal experts, producers, agents and lenders.
The conference, held at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York City, runs from 8 a.m. to noon and continental breakfast will be served. To register, call Kali Timmins at 858/427-4978 or visit the newly developed Web site www.lifaorg.org to download a registration form.
