The PIAS Predators are seeking 14-and-under players from throughout the area to be part of their competitive travel team. The team is sponsored and uniformed by Play It Again Sports. Sierra Club-Lancaster Group will hold a bike ride on the Lebanon Valley Rail-Trail at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21. The ride, which is not recommended for children under 14, will begin at the Colebrook Road access/parking area, where participants will meet ride leader Brian Vandegrift and sign a waiver of liability. Bikers are expected to arrive at the Bluebird Inn near Cornwall (for dinner) about 4 p.m. and to return to the ride's starting point by 7:30 p.m. Participants must supply their own bikes, gear, water and funds for dinner. The fifth annual Tour de Donegal will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, starting and ending at Mount Joy Mennonite Church , 320 Musser Road Mount Joy , PA 17552. The Rectric Century Ride will be held Sunday, June 22, starting at Hempfield Rec Center. This show-n-go, rain-or-shine ride runs begins between 6:30 and 8:30 a.m. Choose a 30-mile or 72-mile ride. The shorter course runs from Hempfield Rec to Lititz recCenter and back. Excentia's S. June Smith Center will be hosting its 17th annual Carl J. Witmeyer Memorial Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 12, at Overlook Golf Course. GEARS is offering gymnastic classes available for girls and boys ages 6 to 12. The beginner class is for anyone who has not taken gymnastics and would like to learn the basic skills. The Warwick cross country team will host its third annual Warwick Warrior 4-Hour Relay and Iron Warrior Run on Saturday, June 28, at Warwick Middle School.
