LIMRA LOMA 2014 Asia Distribution Conference Draws Industry Leaders to Singapore

LIMRA and LOMA are pleased to announce the third annual LIMRA LOMA Asia Distribution Conference will be held in Singapore, Nov. 6-7, 2014.

Recent LIMRA research, done in collaboration with Swiss Re, has found while traditional distribution channels have remained steady in Asia, the bank and direct channels have witnessed significant growth.

"Our research finds that consumers are looking for convenience and price and are gravitating toward channels that offer these," said Ian Watts, senior vice president and managing director, International Operations, LIMRA and LOMA. "It is critical that senior leaders understand consumer sentiment and behavior in order to develop an effective strategy to engage with today's consumers. The conference will include a Greater China CEO Panel, in which industry leaders will discuss their vision for China and for their companies, and outline their tactics for balancing distribution channels, leveraging market potential, and understanding new market realities. Panelists will be:
