KeyLemon and eProktor Partner to Ensure Integrity in E-Learning and Test Proctoring

PR Web

Martigny, Switzerland (PRWEB) September 09, 2014

KeyLemon's pioneering biometric ID and motion analysis technologies that powers biometric identity solutions for Fujitsu and others is being used by eProktor to provide proof of continuous online class attendance and test proctoring.

"Business training, professional certification and test proctoring make up a multi-billion dollar market. In this market current practices require in-person attendance which is both costly and inconvenient." stated Chett Paulsen, CEO of eProktor, "Furthermore, online webcam proctoring using live people as monitors just cannot scale."

KeyLemon's biometric ID is faster and more secure than outdated and ineffective technologies like passcodes or secret information. eProktor's clients can use "their face as their key" to satisfy Federal regulations, state licensing and accredited learning requirements for more stringent proof of identity and attendance.

For test proctoring, eProktor not only scales to allow monitoring of more than 2000 simultaneous test takers, but also costs significantly less than human interface powered solutions. eProktor monitors each person 100% of the time throughout the test period. eProktor then notes and records discrepancies, and provides a simple Pass/Fail in the student's grade book.

eProktor's solutions can be tailored for corporate training, higher education and certification programs, protecting and ensuring the integrity of accredited courses, compliance with HIPPA, OSHA or court ordered class attendance.

"The emergence of the cloud as a convenient, cost effective solution for more than 1.1 billion people worldwide to share data, earn degrees and comply with government regulations requires better methods of verifying identity than passwords," said Anthony Gioeli, VP of sales and marketing for KeyLemon. "Adding the ability to continuously verify identity and attendance without interrupting work flow provides a greater level of confidence in anything offered, earned or shared online."

KeyLemon's biometric security solutions verify users using unique facial data and proprietary anti-spoofing techniques. Based on a unique combination of face and speaker recognition, KeyLemon's technology can be easily integrated into any system or application to deliver seamless, secure and convenient access to devices, online services and financial transactions. In addition to online education, KeyLemon has developed solutions for the automotive, mobile device, web service and medical industries. In each case, KeyLemon's methods not only better protect sensitive information but also allow new use cases in which enhanced security, rapid access and continuous verification are provided in a convenient, hands-free interface.

About KeyLemon
