John Grady Joins New York Life in Senior Finance Post
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- New York Life Insurance Company announced today that John Grady has joined its Corporate Finance Department as a senior vice president responsible for the Mergers & Acquisitions area and the Treasury Department. He reports to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Michael Sproule.
Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Grady worked at Old Mutual plc, most recently as executive vice president, global strategy and corporate development, with responsibility for long-term strategic planning implementation and merger and acquisition related activities. Mr. Grady joined Old Mutual in 2002 as the chief financial officer of Old Mutual Asset Management and was responsible for the organization’s financial activities, including accounting, management reporting, tax reporting, and treasury functions. Before that, Mr. Grady was senior vice president and global treasurer of CDC IXIS Asset Management and also held various financial positions at Fleet Financial Group and The Boston Company.
Mr. Grady holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Providence College and an MBA from the Boston University School of Management. He resides in Westwood, Massachusetts, with his wife, Janice and four children.
