Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group Selects Jim Pierce as Chairman of US Specialty Business

Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group reported the appointment of Jim Pierce as Chairman of its new US specialty business, JLT Specialty Insurance Services Inc.
According to a company release, most recently, Pierce was Chairman of Marsh's Global Industry Practices. Previously he worked at JLT USA.
Pierce's appointment is subject to the fulfilment of any existing contractual obligations and follows the appointment of Michael Rice as CEO and Patrick Donnelly as President and Deputy CEO of the new US specialty operations.
Michael Rice CEO said, "Jim has a proven track record in the US market as an entrepreneurial and passionate client advocate and people leader. His appointment is a very significant step in our plans to build a US specialty business of scale and relevance that adds real client choice to the market and empowers its people.
