HealthPartners Unveils Benefits for Me Built on bswift Technology
Proquest LLC
HealthPartners has reported the launch of Benefits for Me, built on technology by bswift, a company focusing on cloud-based technology and services for employee benefits and exchanges.
In its release, HealthPartners said that this new private exchange solution enables employers to offer many health insurance plan choices to their employees, who can use the online tool to compare and choose the best plan for them.
"bswift is proud to partner with an award-winning health care organization with a reputation for innovative care delivery, and we are confident that Benefits for Me has the recipe for success," said Mike Glantz, Senior Vice President, Exchange Solutions, bswift.
Benefits for Me can accommodate a variety of benefits offerings for employers with 51 or more employees using a defined contribution funding strategy. Businesses are increasingly exploring this strategy as a way to manage the cost of health care -- 18 percent of large employers in 2014 compared to 14 percent in 2013, according to the 2014 bswift Benefits Study, conducted in conjunction with Employee Benefit News.
HealthPartners noted that this private exchange is the newest addition to the Company's suite of defined contribution solutions and can be used for enrollment in HealthPartners' medical, dental and flexible spending account (FSA) plans.
