Express Scripts Elects Roderick Palmore to Its Board

Express Scripts Holding Company said that its Board of Directors has appointed Roderick Palmore to fill a vacancy on the Board.

In its release, Express Scripts said that Palmore serves as executive vice president, general counsel, chief compliance and risk management officer and secretary of General Mills (retiring February 2015). He joined General Mills in 2008 from Sara Lee Corp., where he served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.

"We are pleased to welcome Rick to the Express Scripts Board of Directors, and we appreciate the wealth of expertise and experience he will bring to us," said George Paz, chairman and chief executive officer of Express Scripts.

Palmore was also previously a partner in a large national law firm as well as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and the Chicago Board Options Exchange.

He will serve as a member of the corporate governance committee of the Express Scripts Board of Directors.

Express Scripts manages prescriptions for patients.
