Janet Frank to Join Zenith Insurance Company as President
Zenith National Insurance Corp. (NYSE: ZNT) announced that on March 15, 2010, Janet Frank will be joining it as President and Chief Operating Officer of the company's principal operating subsidiary, Zenith Insurance Company. She will also be an Executive Vice President of Zenith National Insurance Corp.
Ms. Frank has broad insurance industry managerial experience, including most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of the California State Compensation Insurance Fund from October 2007 to October 2009. Prior to joining the Fund, Ms. Frank was Executive Vice President of North American Field Operations for CNA Financial where she was employed since 2001.
Jack D. Miller, currently the President and Chief Operating Officer of Zenith Insurance Company, will become its Vice Chairman and will be responsible for strategic matters, including expanding the company's agricultural business to offer lines of insurance other than workers' compensation.
Stanley Zax, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith National Insurance Corp., stated that "We are delighted to be able to strengthen the company with Jan's broad experience as an insurance executive, and look forward to her joining the Zenith family."
Zenith National Insurance Corp. is a property-casualty insurance organization with headquarters in Woodland Hills, California, and provides workers' compensation insurance nationally through its insurance subsidiaries.
