It’s America’s Turn to Vote to “Insure” Their Favorite Makes It to the Finals

Thousands of Helper-Hopefuls Told Flo Why They’re the One for Her
Now, Ten Move One Step Closer to Starring in a National Progressive Ad

MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- From magicians and rappers to hula-hoopers and soprano soloists, thousands tried out for a chance to appear in a national ad with Flo, Progressive’s always-happy-to-help insurance clerk. Today, the 10 semifinalists are named. Next step: America votes.

“The turnout is very flattering—we’ve seen lots of really talented people who just love insurance,” said Flo. “I'd be lucky to have any of these really fun semifinalists working alongside of me in the Progressive Superstore.”

The semifinalists’ videos can be viewed and voted on at HelpFlo.com today through May 3. After the polls close, three finalists will be announced. Finalists will then complete their quest for Superstore superstardom later that month at an in-person try-out with Flo.

“After three months, three cities, and more than 2,500 contestants, the competition has been fierce,” says Chris Owen, Marketing Business Leader for Progressive. “Now it’s America’s time to vote to help decide who takes the next step toward Superstore stardom.”
