Investment Centers of America Names Jim Komoszewski Regional Manager and Senior Vice President of Practice Management

BISMARCK, N.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Investment Centers of America (ICA) today announced the appointment of Jim Komoszewski as regional manager and senior vice president of practice management. In his new role, Mr. Komoszewski will oversee the firm’s practice management program, which provides tools and resources that help financial advisers improve the efficiency and profitability of their practices.

Mr. Komoszewski is based at ICA’s headquarters in Bismarck, N.D. and will report to Greg Gunderson</person>, president and CEO of ICA. Prior to his current position, he served as first vice president and director of practice management with National Planning Corporation, Inc. (NPC^®), part of the National Planning Holdings (NPH) network. In that role, he created and implemented the Pursuit Program, a platform that offers customized practice management coaching and consulting solutions for financial advisers. Before joining NPC, he was a regional vice president with Jackson National Life Insurance Company^® (Jackson^®), where he developed a wholesaling model that is still widely used among the company’s sales force.

Mr. Komoszewski has 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving in both adviser and wholesaler roles. Mr. Komoszewski earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from Northwestern College. He holds Series 7 and 63 securities registrations, as well as a Minnesota Insurance License.
