InsureMe Ranked 2nd Best Place to Work in America

DENVER, June 25, 2007 - Following a 19th place showing in 2006, InsureMe, an insurance referral service, vaulted to number two in this year's list of the 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America.

The list was announced before an audience of more than 15,000 at the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas.

InsureMe founder and CEO Tim McTavish had hoped for a boost in the rankings and was pleasantly surprised by the jump from the top 20 to the top three.

"We were thrilled to get 19th last year. This year's showing defied our expectations. What can I say? This is wonderful," said McTavish, adding that he was glad to see some fellow Colorado companies on the list.

This annual list ranks the top 25 small- and top 25 medium-sized companies in America that "use smart people management strategies to develop successful organizations with highly productive and satisfied workforces."

The organizations, ranging in size from 50 to 999 employees, were announced by SHRM and selected and ranked by the Great Place to Work(R) Institute. Results are based on employee surveys as well as a comprehensive application process.

"These companies stand out because their employees find them to be places where they can trust the management, take pride in their work and have fun," said Robert Levering, co-founder of the Great Place to Work(R) Institute. "Other companies have much to learn about how to be productive and do right by their people."
