Insurance2go Slash Cost Of Tablet Insurance For UK’s First Ever ‘Tablet Christmas’

PR Web

(PRWEB UK) 20 December 2012

With news that this year is set to be the UK's first ever 'Tablet Christmas', mobile phone and tablet insurance provider, insurance2go are spreading their own festive joy, by giving customers their cheapest tablet insurance policy to-date.

A standard insurance policy for an iPad used to cost £4.49 a month, but insurance2go are proud to reveal they are now the cheapest on the market, with cover now costing as little as £2.99 per month. Whether you're planning on giving or receiving a tablet this Christmas, with additional cover from just £2.99 a month, it makes perfect sense to give your expensive new gadget the protection it deserves.

It is widely predicted that tablets are set to be the biggest seller this Christmas. According to the Consumer Electronic Association (CEA), they are set to dominate the consumer electronics market as sales are expected to increase by more than double during the festive season. According to a recent survey commissioned by the CEA, 16% of people said that tablets topped their Christmas wish-list, that's more than those who wished for Smartphones, Laptops or even E-readers.

The reason for their popularity is largely down to their affordability. More than ever before, tablets like the iPad, Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy are offering greater value for money. Therefore, they're likely to be in one or two Christmas stockings or featuring under the tree this year.

According to Managing Director of insurance2go, Duncan Spencer, having cheaper tablet insurance makes perfect sense given the tablet rush this Christmas, "Despite the fall in price of tablets, given the nature of their portability, customers will naturally want to protect their gift. That's why we wanted to slash the price of insurance to offer people a way to protect their iPad or Kindle Fire without having to break the bank."

Tablet insurance will vary depending on make and model of tablet. To get a quote simply visit insurance2go.
