Industry “Giant” Alice Finn Joins Pillar Financial Advisors as Co-President

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pillar Financial Advisors, the Boston area’s oldest independent, fee-only financial advisory firm, is pleased to announce that acclaimed wealth manager Alice Finn has joined the firm as Co-President. Ms. Finn expands Pillar’s leadership team and enhances its position as a premier wealth management firm with global investment expertise.

Alice Finn is a well known and highly respected wealth management industry innovator. As Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Ballentine, Finn and Company, Inc., she grew the firm’s discretionary assets under management to over $2 billion and assets under advisement to more than $5 billion during her leadership of that firm and its investment group. Barron’s named her “The Giant” in its 2007 inaugural list of the top 100 independent financial advisors, and she has appeared on CNBC as a top financial advisor.

Ms. Finn is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Harvard College with a focus on East Asian studies and a graduate of Harvard Law School, focusing on international law. She also earned a Masters degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where she specialized in international business and international trade and investments. Before becoming a financial advisor in the early 1990’s, Ms. Finn worked for NASA, negotiating international agreements for the space shuttle and the space station.

She has lived in Spain, Mexico, Israel and Japan and serves on the Fletcher Board of Overseers at Tufts University.
