Aircraft leasing company International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) and its parent company, insurance group American International Group Inc (AIG) (NYSE:AIG), announced on Friday the retirement of ILFC's acting CEO and president & chief operating officer, John Plueger.
ILFC vice chairman and chief financial officer Alan Lund will take over from Plueger as interim president and CEO.
Fred Cromer, senior VP of Finance, will succeed Lund as ILFC's CFO.
Lund has been at ILFC for almost three decades as CFO and has served as vice chairman and CFO since 2002.
Cromer joined ILFC in July 2008, before which he spent 17 years in various airline finance and planning positions at ExpressJet Airlines, Continental Airlines and Northwest Airlines.
