ICS Learning Group Works With NHPRI for Rapid-Development of Affordable Care Act Training Courseware

The ACA will bring many changes to the healthcare system, for which employees of HMOs and other healthcare providers will need to be trained. Neighborhood’s “Understanding the Affordable Care Act and Health Benefits Exchange” training is designed for three audience profiles; Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced – depending on the depth of knowledge required of a particular employee or group. Overall, each course will provide an engaging presentation to define and understand the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Health Benefits Exchange (HBE), and the integration requirements. Additionally, the courses will train the Neighborhood employees on their offerings within Rhode Island’s Exchange, including the various ‘metal’ levels, income requirements and subsidies, as well as explain how Neighborhood will evolve as an organization by participating in the Exchange.
