Hurricane Resistant Home in Gulf Shores, Alabama Almost Completed

PR Web

Gulf Shores, Aabama (PRWEB) December 26, 2013

Defender Technologies, LLC., with headquarters in Gulf Shores, AL, is due to complete its first hurricane resistant home next month and invites the public to learn about this new resilient construction process. http://www.defendertechnologies.net

Riji Dixon, CEO of the Company said, “The home is not for sale and will be the Company’s showcase home to demonstrate our innovative building technologies and will have 'all the extras' to show that a strong home can be beautiful as well.”

Dixon went on to say, “We will be inviting builders, developers, and government officials at the local, state, and national level to tour and learn how this simple, innovative and affordable process can prevent the massive destruction we have witnessed from natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires and storm surge."

Understanding that we must build stronger to save lives and break the cycle of devastation, insurance companies, state Insurance regulators and government agencies are providing significant insurance discounts for homes built to new, more resilient standards like IBHS FORTIFIED or the recently announced Department of Homeland Security'sResilience STAR standards.

Municipal Housing Authorities, Homeland Security, HUD, the military, insurers, builders and real estate developers are all invited for a close examination of the home, which is designed to withstand winds up to 200+miles per hour, is water proof, bullet proof, fire resistant, mold resistant, termite proof, sinkhole resistant, and withstands earthquakes (measuring up to 7.0 on the Richter scale).

The technology was developed by a engineer residing in the Philippines, and almost sixty thousand homes have been built worldwide using the patented technology.

Defender has exclusive rights for technology in the United Sates, and is looking for builders to learn and use its process to build safer, stronger, and smarter homes. For builders, there is no franchise or license fee and free training is provided to become certified to use the technology.

Interested parties may learn more and contact Defender via its website: http://www.defendertechnologies.net.
