Hub International Acquires Sander A. Kessler & Associates

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hub International Limited announced today that it has acquired the shares of Sander A. Kessler & Associates, Inc. (Kessler), a Santa Monica, California-based insurance brokerage firm. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. In connection with this acquisition, Kessler will become part of the Los Angeles, California operations of Hub International Insurance Services Inc. (Hub California). Steve Kessler, Ken Kessler, Joel Davidowski and Lucille Shalometh, Principals of Kessler, will join Hub California and report to William Roeder, Sr., Executive Vice President of Hub California.

Founded in 1956, Kessler is one of the largest, independent full-service insurance agencies in California. This transaction will significantly expand Hub California’s presence in the Los Angeles area. Kessler currently arranges insurance programs for a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, seafood, meat processing, security guards, recycling, and the solar industry. They are well-known for placing workers’ compensation risks, among other lines of coverage, for these industries.
