Hotze Health & Wellness Center Welcomes Heart Disease Expert Dr. Whitaker

A Final Salute to American Heart Month

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- February is nearing its end, but as one final salute to American Heart Month this year, Founder and CEO of Hotze Health & Wellness Center (HHWC)Steven F. Hotze, M.D., is encouraging Americans to be proactive in preventing or reversing the number one killer of both women and men in the United States: heart disease. Recently, Dr. Hotze welcomed heart disease expert Dr. Julian Whitaker as a guest on “Health & Wellness Solutions” radio program to discuss natural approaches to good heart health.

Dr. Hotze explains that heart disease is a silent killer because typically there is no advance warning. Each year, 750,000 Americans die of a heart attack: an average of 2,055 each day, 85 per hour, and nearly one and a half deaths per second. In addition, more than 47 percent of these deaths occur before emergency help arrives. In light of these alarming figures, Dr. Hotze explains his intentions are to insure Americans are educated about the risks associated with conventional medicine’s approach to heart health as well as present natural options as alternatives.

“I’m on a mission to educate Americans so that they can make an informed decision rather than one based upon a fear that’s instilled by conventional medicine, and recently I was privileged to have Dr. Whitaker join me in sharing this knowledge with our radio listeners,” said Dr. Hotze. “Unfortunately, most Americans are completely unaware of the risks associated with statin drugs, and the disturbing statistics that accompany heart surgery. I want people to know there is hope, and they have options; in particular, natural ways to even reverse cardiovascular disease.”

Dr. Whitaker has been a pioneer in the world of alternative medicine for more than thirty years, and is founder of Whitaker Wellness Institute in Newport Beach, Calif.

“When it comes to heart disease and cancer, all decisions are fear based,” said Dr. Whitaker. “So when you have fear based decisions, the patient is at a huge disadvantage- the family is at a disadvantage by physicians who completely, irresponsible frighten their patients. It is a big excuse to prop up a trillion dollar industry that does not work – it does not produce what patients think it’s going to produce when they go in.”

Here are two scientifically proven solutions to reducing sudden cardiac death:

1.

Magnesium (citrate or chelate) – A powerful anecdote to arrhythmia; an irregular heartbeat is a mineral deficiency. Recommended daily dosage varies from 400 - 800 mg to even 1,000 mg per day).

2.

Fish Oil (high grade) – Sudden cardiac death does not occur in cultures that have large amounts of fish in their diet, such as Greenland and Alaska.
