Herzing College – Montreal Adds Four New Programs

Herzing College – Montreal is pleased to announce the expansion of course offerings to include: Damage Insurance, Early Childhood Care, International Commerce Import and Export, and Real-Estate and Mortgage Broker programs. Herzing College has been a leader in specialized career training in Montreal for over four decades and offers programs in healthcare, business, technology, design and education.

“We are excited to expand our program offerings and welcome new students to the campus,” said Herzing College – Montreal Campus President, Dr. Michael McAllister.

The Herzing College Damage Insurance program provides comprehensive training in a growing field and is the first step toward completing the licensing exams with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and beginning a rewarding career as a damage insurance agent, broker, underwriter or claims adjuster.

The Early Childhood Care program is a fulfilling career choice, helping to provide a foundation of support to encourage children to grow into their full potential. There are many places to work in the growing career field of childhood care, including daycare centres, kindergartens, nursery schools, and special education organizations.    

The International Commerce Import and Export program teaches valuable skills recommended by the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), which will provide all the tools necessary for a student to eventually become a Certified TradeProfessional (CITP). Training can lead to a career as am import/export merchant, sales representative, customs official and more.

The intense and comprehensive training provided by the Real-Estate and Mortgage Broker program could lead to a career as a mortgage broker, real-estate broker, accountant or even a business advisor. Students will learn valuable skills backed by the Organisme d'autoréglementation du courtage immoblier du Québec (OACIQ), the organization that is responsible for the application and enforcement of the Real Estate Brokerage Act that determines the rules and regulations for real-estate.

“The new program offerings fit perfectly with our objective of being able to offer flexible, career-driven diploma programs that can be completed in a short amount of time,” said Director of Admissions Tony LoManto.
