Healthcare Industry Leader Joins WEB-TPA Executive Team
WEB-TPA of Irving, Texas, a leading provider of health plan management services and an AmWINS Group company, has recently appointed Omar Rodriguez as head of Development and Strategic Planning (see also WEB-TPA).
With more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare arena, Rodriguez assumes a newly created role designed to enhance WEB-TPA's efforts to ensure more self-funded health plans control the rising costs of healthcare. Adding a recognized leader to the WEB-TPA executive team reinforces the company's commitment to helping companies better control their healthcare destiny during these challenging times.

Rodriguez served as President and CEO of Benefit Planners, one of the largest self-funded benefit administrators in the United States. Along with his prior service at Benefit Planners, Rodriguez has held presidential, CEO or directorship positions at Century Healthcare, Advanced Plan for Health and Health by Design onsite clinics.
Rodriguez holds a BA Magna Cum Laude from Central Washington University. He currently serves on the boards of several cultural, literary, arts and corporate boards.
