Hartford Investment Management Company appoints Joseph Darcy to lead municipal team

Investment advisor Hartford Investment Management Company, a subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc (NYSE:HIG), reported on Tuesday the appointment of Joseph Darcy as executive VP and sector head of municipal finance with effect from 25 January.

In this role Darcy becomes a portfolio manager of The Hartford High Yield Municipal Bond Fund and The Hartford Tax-Free National Fund alongside Christopher Bade.

Previously Darcy spent 16 years with BNY Mellon Asset Management.
