First Summit’s William Pickering Receives Prestigious ‘American Award’ from Lincoln Financial Group
Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC) announced that William Pickering, president and chief executive officer of First Summit Financial, Lake Mary, Fla., has received its prestigious American Award.
Pickering is a registered representative and registered principal of Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation.
The awards are presented each year to financial services professionals who combine business performance excellence, outstanding community service and commitment to family. The American Award, which was presented to Pickering by Dennis R. Glass, president and chief executive officer of Lincoln Financial, is one of the company's top honors.

He is also a Life Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, one of the most prestigious organizations in the financial services industry. In addition to his professional dedication, Pickering is an active philanthropist and community leader. He is a longtime supporter of the Special Olympics, in addition to being actively involved with autism prevention. In addition, he is active with several community food banks.
