Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company Names Andrew Torrance President and CEO [Manufacturing Close – Up]

Andrew Torrance has been named the new president and chief executive officer of Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.

According to a release, he is expected to assume his new role later this summer. Torrance succeeds Lori Fouche, who left the company to pursue other opportunities to be closer to her family on the East Coast.

With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Torrance most recently served as CEO of Allianz UK, a general insurer in the UK and part of the Allianz SE Group, a property and casualty insurer. Prior to being appointed CEO in 2003, he was the director and head of the Allianz broker division. Torrance also held senior and Board positions at consulting firms and insurers, including London & Edinburgh and Boston Consulting Group.

His appointment is subject to approval by the board of directors of Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.
