Financial Times Ranks AES International in Top 50 of Financial Services Firms

PR Web

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 10 December 2012

In their recent Top 100 Financial Advisers 2012, the Financial Times Adviser has placed AES International in the top 50 of all financial adviser businesses in the UK for 2012, based on turnover relating to financial advice. The industry ranking, which lists the 'biggest players in financial advice', puts AES at an exemplary 41st position out of all those surveyed.

The award represents a major success for AES, and comes on the back of a period of sustained growth for the firm. Having been named as the fastest-growing UK financial services firm for 2011 and 2012 by the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, AES has firmly established itself as a leader within the international financial marketplace.

CEO Sam Instone commented, ‘At AES we are a highly-differentiated organisation with a unique investment proposition that provides security, financial wealth and peace of mind for our clients. Our commitment to export UK best practice has positioned us as the polar-opposite of many of our competitors, and our client-focused approach has attracted a great deal of new business.’

‘We are delighted to be named in the FT Adviser Top 100, and will continue to improve client outcomes as we strive to positively change international financial services. The upcoming challenge of the RDR presents an exciting opportunity for our firm to continue to adopt the very highest standards, regardless of jurisdiction, to deliver the best financial services to our clients.’

Having started in 2000, the FT Adviser awards are now in their 13th year, and are the result of an extensive research process. Each year over 2,000 financial advice firms are surveyed, each of which has an annual turnover in excess of £1m. From this, the top 500 are whittled down until only the 100 largest financial advice firms remain. The list attracts some of the biggest names in the financial services profession, including St James’ Place, Hargeaves Lansdowne and Barclays Bank.

About AES International

AES is the fastest-growing UK financial services business for both 2011 and 2012, as recognised by the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100.

AES International is the trading style of a multi-award winning financial services group that is licensed for investment and insurance business in over 34 jurisdictions worldwide and is owned by AES International Group PLC.

The company’s approach is strongly differentiated from its peers. As multi-award winning independent specialists with a global perspective, AES seeks to export UK best practice into the international marketplace, focusing on quality; both in terms of the advisers they recruit and the service they provide. Their values-driven approach is reflected in their unique Partnership Charter, which brings peace of mind and security to partners and clients alike.

AES International seeks to bring positive change to international financial services and specialises in multi-jurisdictional, cross border, inpatriate, expatriate, and non-domiciled insurance and investment services. This means they deliver professional services to international private client advisers, wealth managers, and other financial services firms who serve internationally mobile professionals, offshore clients/trusts and the expatriate sector.

The firm delivers three market leading value propositions to those intermediaries and businesses with whom they partner. These enable their partners and agents to help their respective clients understand, build and protect their assets.
