FCL Graphics Announces Major Investments to Enhance Print and Direct Mail Services
The investments include a newly introduced high speed Xerox Color 1000 digital press for high speed production of personalized and digitally printed marketing pieces. This new generation Xerox product was first offered for sale in 2010. It is a 100 page per minute, 2400 x 2400 dpi four color device, and the first high-end digital printer to use Xerox's low melt, EA Dry Ink and no fuser oil, providing an improved digitally mastered image quality and a smooth offset like finish.
In the bindery two high-speed fully automatic Muller Martini saddle stitch binders have been added to increase capacity and speed in delivering high quality 1 or 2-up saddle stitched products.
For mailing FCL Graphics has added an MCS 600 Array inkjet mailer providing up to 6 inches of inkjet printing at speeds of up to 36,000 pages per hour. The MCS Array imager provides the highest quality inkjet imaging on the market. It utilizes HP's signature high resolution imager and can handle a wide variety of stocks and ink sets.
"The addition of this equipment is strategically important because it shows our targeted investment in solutions to meet the needs of our customers," said
