Derivative Path Expands Team Adding New Chief Compliance Officer – Enhancing Advisory Capabilities for Financial Institutions

Katherine, who has more than 20 years of capital markets compliance and regulatory experience, was most recently at Wells Fargo Securities, where she led the day-to-day compliance activities for the bank's interest rates derivatives business – including oversight of controls, procedures, training and surveillance.

"Katherine was a go-to leader for Dodd-Frank related client queries at her previous institution and was instrumental in implementing an industry leading compliance program at one of the largest banks/Swap Dealers in the world. Katherine is a thought leader with extensive regulatory/compliance expertise across various capital markets products including derivatives, investment adviser and broker/dealer rules. In past roles, she has held various positions including working as a regulator and as a FINRA arbitrator. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California San Diego and a Master's degree from the University of San Diego.
