Danlaw’s Mx-Suite™ Now Integrated with IBM Rational ALM Tool Chain
| PR Newswire Association LLC |
With Mx-Suite RQM Adapter, Mx-Suite™ test artifacts can be linked to Rational Quality Manager Test Cases, which in turn provide traceability to all other ALM components like requirements, change management, planning, defect management, etc. Test scenario creation in Mx-Suite can now be initiated from the RQM. Test cases in RQM will launch the Mx-Suite when executed, either locally or over the network. After the completion of the test, a snapshot of the test result is displayed in RQM and a then a PDF report and full detailed results are automatically uploaded to RQM. The results can be loaded back into Mx-Suite for further detailed review or analysis at a later point in time.
"Integrating Mx-Suite with Rational Quality Manger provides automated testing capability plus real-time planning, lifecycle traceability and in-context collaboration," said
The Mx-Suite Embedded Software Test Environment is designed to help automotive ECU module suppliers produce their products more efficiently and with higher quality through continuous integration. Using intuitive graphical diagrams, software requirements are easily documented with performance criteria and tolerances, therefore simplifying software validation. Mx-Suite allows engineers to test development concepts using virtual prototypes before electronics are available. Mx-Suite is used to validate models (MIL), execute tests on developer-written or auto-coded software (SIL), as well as run tests with bench and hardware in the loop (HIL) equipment. Comprehensive support is provided for AUTOSAR development and testing for both MIL and SIL. Automotive OEMs and tier 1 suppliers across body, powertrain, chassis, safety and infotainment alike continue to rely on Mx-Suite for its intuitive user interface and complete test coverage.
