Crump Launches Exclusive Liability Program for Subcontractor Risks
DENVER, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Crump Insurance Services, part of Crump Group, the nation's largest insurance wholesaler introduces an exclusive general liability program for subcontractors, both residential and commercial, for a broad range of classes. This program, offered through an AM Best A-XI rated carrier under the ISO form CG0001 12-04, provides broad coverage and flexible terms and conditions. The program is available for risks in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming (approval is pending in California), and offers limits of $1,000,000/$2,000,000/$2,000,000 with a low minimum premium of $2,000. Highlights include: no tract or multi-family limitations, broad duty to defend, no punitive damages exclusion and is silent on subsidence; plus -- in most states -- defense outside limits and no "prior works" exclusion. "The troubled construction market has made it more difficult for subcontractors to find affordable liability protection while contending with reduced income. Crump has worked with our carrier partner to offer a comprehensive GL product with a broad appetite for residential and commercial subcontractors at rates that will allow them to keep their business protected through these tough market conditions," said Joe Benkelman, head of Crump Insurance Services' Denver location, who was instrumental in setting up the program.
Crump is the exclusive point of access for the program and works with retail agents and brokers to provide access to this coverage for their clients. Underwriting, rating and quoting are performed in-house, resulting in faster turnaround on submissions. Agents should contact their Crump broker or call 877.247.9772 for assistance.
