Council seeks financial advisor

Proposals will be sent
The request for proposals for financial advisory services states the independent financial advisor will be expected to perform four tasks: Financial planning and debt management; capital budget programming; debt issue development and oversight; and investment program/arbitrage-rebate management/continuing disclosure.
"I think it's a good thing for the city to have a financial advisor," Antonen said. "So, hopefully by June, we should have a financial advisor in place."
Antonen said the money the financial advisor saves should be more than enough to pay for their services.
