Construction Risk Management Industry Leader Robert Barone Promoted to President of IVI International, Inc.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Barone, R.A., one of the real estate development industry's most experienced construction risk management executives, has been promoted to President of IVI International, Inc., a leading global provider of integrated Construction Risk Management (CRM) services.  The announcement was made by Carl de Stefanis, P.E., CEO of IVI.

In his role as president, Mr. Barone will be focused on the growth of the firm and the expansion of its consulting services to mitigate the inherent risks associated with real estate development and construction.

Mr. Barone has over 30 years' experience in assessing and managing real estate development and construction delivery risk on behalf of institutional mortgagees, equity investors and owners. He joined IVI in 1984 and has served as Senior Vice President of the firm's CRM division for the last 15 years. This division has a staff of over 50 architects, engineers and project managers, and is currently providing Construction Risk Management services for over 320 projects having an aggregate direct cost in excess of $13 billion USD.  In addition to CRM services, the division offers owner representation, litigation support and development feasibility studies. 

IVI's projects include many of the highest-profile developments in the world including the $8.5 billionCity Center Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and New York's$860 million Time Warner Center.
