Computershare Communication Services Expands West Coast Presence

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Computershare Limited (ASX:CPU), a leading financial services provider for the global securities industry, today announced that they are expanding their production capabilities for West coast clients through their Communication Services division. Having a West coast facility enables Computershare to bring its timely and cost efficient customer communications model to local and regional businesses.

Computershare Communication Services (CCS) is a leading global provider of print and electronic communications that specializes in mission critical stakeholder/customer communication programs. CCS helps clients achieve their communication goals by facilitating dynamic print/mail and electronic delivered communications in support of customer care programs.

"If a client needs to execute a print mail or electronic communications campaign to meet a compliance or service requirement, Computershare can execute such a program – daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually," said Bernie O'Connor, President, Computershare Communication Services.  "Historically, many companies in need of such support have built this expertise internally.  Our customer communication strategy delivers a more efficient, pay-as-you-use OPEX model, not a capital intensive CAPEX model that in-sourcing creates."

Computershare will build on the expertise derived from their ISO 9001:2008 certified communication production facilities on the East coast and Midwest. The West coast facility, located in El Segundo, will handle both print and electronic communications related to Computershare's suite of industry solutions for financial services, insurance and other high-touch related markets.

Computershare's industry solutions allow for more impactful communications by optimizing delivery methods, promoting cross-beneficial services by targeting receptive audiences, and providing a dynamic and easy to use channel for customer care programs. All CCS solutions are flexible enough to allow for easy customization.

"As an experienced business development executive in the mission-critical communications space, I am excited to leverage my 20 plus years of developing programs to help Western Region companies better connect with their customers," said Penny Pepper, West Coast Business Development Manager, Computershare Communication Services.
