Project: Replacement of the Existing Emergency Egress Access Wood Platform, Stairs and Exit Door
Deficiency Number: 96754
Contractor shall construct and install new 6ft x 4ft wood frame platform with a three riser wood stair and exit door per
Platform shall start from the interior face of the exterior wall at the exit door and extend to the west into the corridor.
Platform shall pitch to the exterior of the building for proper drainage.
Contractor shall install a flush mounted metal floor drain/piping in the platform to drain the water to the building exterior also providing thermal and moister protection for a weather tight construction(install insulation to the underside of the platform walls and between the floor joist and over the ceiling).
Contractor shall attach EFIS to the exterior walls
Contractor shall install a surface mounted energy star effective light with acrylic lens compact florescent with emergency ballast.
Contract shall reuse the existing exterior door and assembly in the new location.
Contractor shall provide its own security for tools or materials used.
Contractor shall clean and remove debris from area.
Contractor shall haul away all construction site debris from the center.
Contractor shall complete the project in an orderly and timely manner.
Subcontractor must provide installers who have successfully completed the
