Centrix Software Increases Global Footprint with Key Industry Hires

Centrix Software, a provider of unified end-user computing solutions, announced the appointment of Brett Johnson as VP Sales and Marketing, Americas. It has also announced Lisa Waldman as Regional Sales Director.

The new team will lead Centrix Software's customer and partner activity in the Americas region, as demand for desktop transformation support continues to grow. Centrix Software provides a suite of analytics and application delivery solutions that reduce the cost and complexity of end-user computing and enable organizations to make more informed decisions about strategic desktop transformation initiatives such as OS migrations, desktop virtualization and application rationalization.

Brett Johnson joins Centrix Software from Dynamic Ops where he led the company for its first three years as VP Global Sales to consistent sales growth among F500 customers, successful company financing in 2011, and a recognized market leadership position. Most recently, he served as the company's VP of Channels and Sales Alliances and was responsible for establishing a formal partner program focused on the recruitment and enablement of strategic go-to-market partners including value added resellers, system integrators and strategic alliances. Johnson previously spent four years at another leading virtualization company, PlateSpin, where he established a strong channel and distribution network and later ran Enterprise Sales for the Americas. He brings 20 years of sales leadership experience to Centrix Software, managing both direct and channel sales organizations, in addition to extensive business development and alliance experience at a global level.

Waldman joins Centrix from Panologic, where she was Enterprise Sales Director. Waldman brings a huge array of industry experience in the desktop arena, having held previous roles at Desktone, Softricity and Citrix.
