CNA Appoints Robert Ivey Mid-Atlantic Zone Officer

CNA Financial Corporation (NYSE: CNA) announced that Robert Ivey has been appointed to the position of Mid-Atlantic Zone Officer. In this role, Ivey - who also serves as vice president of CNA's Reading and Philadelphia branches - is responsible for branch operations, producer relationships and execution of the global insurer's strategy for profitable growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic Zone territory.

One of six geographic zones in CNA's U.S. field structure, the Mid-Atlantic Zone comprises Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia and includes offices in Baltimore, Parsippany, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Reading, Richmond, and Washington, D.C. CNA will soon announce the appointment of a vice president for the Washington, D.C. branch, a position previously held by George Agyen who has left CNA to pursue other endeavors.

Ivey joined CNA in 2010 as vice president of the Philadelphia branch and, shortly thereafter, assumed responsibility for the Reading branch. Prior to joining CNA, he served as regional vice president for The Hartford'sPennsylvania region.
