CIGNA HealthCare Names Julia Huggins President and General Manager for Mid-Atlantic Market
COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CIGNA HealthCare announced today that it has named Julia Huggins president for its Mid-Atlantic market, which includes Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Huggins joined CIGNA in 1999 as assistant vice president for sales effectiveness in the company’s Bloomfield, Conn. office before becoming the senior vice president of the Mid-Atlantic sales and customer service team in 2004. Prior to CIGNA, Huggins had a 14-year career with Aetna, holding an array of positions that gave her expertise in group underwriting, national accounts, pension and financial services and financial management.
Huggins has a B.S. in biology and chemistry from Saint Joseph’s College. She resides in Westminster, Md. with her husband and four children, and will be working out of CIGNA's Columbia, Md. office.
