This is the regional carrier's best-ever position in A.M. Best's ranking of the largest carriers in the country based on net written premium. CIG has ranked prominently in the listings since 2002, steadily moving up, with significant gains in rankings in 2003, 2005, 2010 and 2012. For the 12th consecutive year, A.M.
