CAA Insurance Company Selects Guidewire for Rating, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Billing, and Claims Management

Guidewire InsuranceSuite™ provides the core systems which will enable CAA Insurance to enhance level of service to its clients

ONTARIO, Canada & SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Canadian Automobile Association Insurance Company (“CAA Insurance”), a provider of auto and property insurance to clients in Ontario and the Maritimes, and Guidewire Software®, today announced that CAA Insurance has selected Guidewire InsuranceSuite as its new platform for rating, underwriting and policy administration, claims management and billing.

Guidewire InsuranceSuite will enable CAA Insurance to enhance its customer service capabilities to customers in a variety of ways including: improving the timeliness and accuracy of information; reducing the time to market for new products and providing more flexible premium payment options. CAA Insurance also plans to improve operational efficiency through having easier access to data, improved reporting capabilities and better visibility into its core operations. CAA Insurance is planning to implement all InsuranceSuite applications in one parallel implementation.

“Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience for our clients,” said Matthew Turack, vice president, Insurance, CAA South Central Ontario. “Guidewire will enable us to do so with a core system suite that provides deep functional support for each of our core operations and the flexibility to quickly and effectively deliver enhanced service to our clients.”

“We’re honored to have been selected by the CAA Insurance team to be its core systems partner,” said Marcus Ryu, chief executive officer, Guidewire Software. “I appreciate their desire to further enhance the quality of service for their customers. We’re looking forward to working together on the implementation and to a long term relationship.”

Guidewire InsuranceSuite provides the flexible core systems essential for the mission-critical operations of general (property/casualty) insurers competing in today’s market: underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims. The suite was designed using a modular approach, enabling insurers to select individual applications -- Guidewire PolicyCenter®, Guidewire BillingCenter®, and Guidewire ClaimCenter® -- or a pre-integrated set, driven by their requirements and priorities. InsuranceSuite provides the flexibility insurers need to deliver insurance the way they want to by rapidly delivering better products and service to their policyholders and agents, while improving underwriting discipline and lowering operational costs.
