The September issue of Best’s Review presents its fourth annual listing of top global reinsurance brokers ranked by 2009 brokerage revenues.

The top 10 global reinsurance brokers are:

In addition, the September issue reports A.M. Best’s ranking of the Top 50 Global Reinsurance Groups in 2009. Munich Reinsurance Co. is No. 1. For 2010, A.M. Best has broadened its ranking of the world’s largest reinsurers to include the top 50 reinsurance organizations based on gross premiums written. The ranking has also been expanded to include several government-sponsored reinsurance companies.
