Bank of America Compliance Expert Monica Najera Joins Informa Research Services

Veteran banking executive to lead compliance and fair lending research

CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Informa Research Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Informa plc (LSE: INF), announced today that Monica Najera, a seasoned compliance executive most recently with Bank of America, has joined the company as director of compliance and risk management.

Ms. Najera started her career as a technology consultant with Computer Sciences Corporation. She entered banking at Washington Mutual (later acquired by JPMorgan Chase) in 2001 as part of their compliance team focusing on the implementation of regulatory changes occurring within the mortgage industry. In 2004, Monica joined Countrywide where she became the senior vice president within the home loans compliance division. When Bank of America took over Countrywide, Najera retained her position as SVP and was internally recruited to oversee compliance and operational risk monitoring functions spanning across Bank of America’s consumer lines of business.
