Bank Investment Consultant Honors Invest Financial Program Managers [Professional Services Close – Up]

Invest Financial Corp. announced that three of its program managers, Paul Restante, president of Community Investment Services, Inc., Jack Nelson, senior vice president of Johnson Investment Services and Rachel Risberg, executive vice president of member experience at Royal Credit Union, were recognized by Bank Investment Consultant as Top Program Managers.

According to a release, BIC ranks the top 20 managers of the most productive advisors in bank brokerage. The list is ranked by average production per advisor on the managers' teams, growth of team assets, growth of team annual production and number of full-time advisors the program manager directly supervises and number of licensed branch employees under their supervision. Top ranking managers also oversee advisors who perform above industry benchmarks.

"Having three Invest managers named to BIC's annual Top Program Manager Awards is an unprecedented achievement, demonstrating their unique ability to collaborate cohesively with staff, while managing their businesses successfully amid a fluctuating economy," said Steve Dowden, president and chief executive officer of Invest. "These individuals are some of the best and brightest program managers in the industry, and the recognition of their dedication and achievement was well-deserved," Dowden said.

Ranked number five on the list, Restante was recognized for his persistent and successful recruiting efforts, as well as encouraging representatives to work with business bankers and branch managers closely to find top talent. With 30 years experience in the investment services and insurance fields, Restante is responsible for all of CISI's brokerage and insurance operations within the 200- branch-wide network in New York and Pennsylvania. During his first three years with CISI, the program increased total revenue by more than 25 percent, net income by more than 28 percent and has grown the size of its professional field force by more than 38 percent.

Ranked at number 18 on the list, Nelson was recognized for building a fully-integrated team to help clients achieve their financial goals and for encouraging his team to gain a broad understanding of each client's needs by utilizing a holistic, consultative approach. Nelson has more than 30 years of experience as a financial professional.

Risberg was noted as an honorable mention, which recognizes individuals that just missed the cutoff for top program manager, but are noteworthy and making a vital impact in their position. She began her career at RCU in 1984 as a branch manager. Last year, Risberg was promoted to her current senior position which allows her to manage the member experience across all channels, including within the branches and online. With more than 29 years at RCU, Risberg has led the opening and growth of a new branch, spearheaded employee development and managed the total client and advisor experience.
