She even cares for her niece so that her sister can get an education.
Courtney said that's not all, Katrina doesn't have insurance and was just diagnosed with some serious health issues that mean, she will not be able to have children.
"She's sick and she needs help but she is not willing to tell anyone to make anyone feel bad for it."
Courtney wants to Pay it Forward to Katrina so that she can have something for herself.
"I want her to be able to have the freedom and she doesn't and it sucks," she said.
Katrina said she still wants to use the money to help support her little niece.
"I just want my family to be happy and not have to worry all the time," said Katrina.
